IRPS Centre Philosophy

It’s that time of the year already when we need to review our service philosophy.

Our service philosophy is designed to:

  1. Underpin the decisions, policies and daily practices of the service
  2. Reflect a shared understanding of the role of the service among Educators, Children, Families and the Community; and
  3. Guide teaching, planning and practices when implementing the education program.

We have attached a link of our current philosophy. We would ask that you read through it to make sure that it meets your expectations and if you have any feedback that you would like to see added, changed or taken away, please let us know.

IRPS Centre Philosophy

Some questions that we use to help us review it are:

  1. Why is quality childcare important?
  2. How do we advocate for children’s rights?
  3. What is the importance of children’s play for school age children?
  4. What do the terms health, safety and child protection mean to you?
  5. How do we support and maintain the environment?
  6. How do we support the local and wider community?

If you can please send your feedback to irps@ktoosh.com.au, it would be greatly appreciated.
