After a review of our menu we have updated the following items in accordance with the Nutrition Australia guidelines.

KT OOSH will be offering wholemeal bread only and removing white bread, heavily processed meats and high sugar cereals from the service. We currently offer cut up fruit and vegetables every afternoon for a snack along with either a sandwich or crackers and cheese.

We have been speaking and gaining feedback from the children over the last couple of weeks and feel we have come up with a range of popular fruit and vegetables for offer so everyone is happy.

Please ensure you take the time to view our menus which are always located in the entrance areas of each block for the term and Vacation Care.

Should your child not be able to consume or does not like menu items then you are required to provide an alternative which can be stored on site where possible or brought each day.

Vacation Care Hours: Strictly 7:00am – 6:00pm with late fees accruing after 6:00pm.  If you are running late then please have the courtesy to contact the centre directly on 0434 584 881 to ensure a staff member is able to stay after 6:00pm as this is not always possible.  Late fees apply at a rate of $15/five minute increments/child.

Fees: A lot of time and planning goes into Vacation Care and therefore last minute requests cannot always be accommodated due to staffing, logistics or supply issues.  This being the case please be aware of the current Vacation Care & Staff Development Day Fee structure:

Early Bird Rate – $52.00/day/child

Casual Rate – $62.00/day/child

Emergency Rate – $66.00/day/child

Breakfast: During Vacation Care Periods is from 7:00am – 8:00am.  Cereal and juice are the only options with toast and fruit being served with morning tea at approximately 9:30am.

Children’s Daily Requirements: HATS, CLOSED in SHOES (no thongs), DRINK BOTTLE & a Back Pack or Bag.  Keep your child sun smart and do not send them in sleeveless tops.

Slushies: Available throughout the holidays for $1 with a maximum of 2/child/day.

Due to increased operating costs the Fee Structure for 2016 has been reviewed and as follows effective Monday 1st February 2016:

Effective from Monday 1st February 2016 KT OOSH fees for families attending our OLA service will be:

Morning care (6:45am- 8:45am) will be $21.00 per child (including Breakfast served until 7:30am)

Afternoon care (3:00pm-6:00pm) will be $24.00 per child  (includes an afternoon snack)

Casual Care (Morning or Afternoon) will be $27.00 per child

Emergency Care * Less then 24hrs notice (Morning or Afternoon) will be $30.00 per child

Vacation care EARLY BIRD RATE (7:00am-6:00pm) will be $52.00 per child (no change)

Vacation care CASUAL RATE (7:00am-6:00pm) will be $62.00 per child (no change)

Vacation care EMERGENCY RATE *Less than 24hrs notice (7:00am-6:00pm) will be $66.00 per child (new change)

NON Notification Fee $7.50 (charge for non notification of attendance of a booked session)

NOTE: This non notiication charge will now apply to absent children in the AM sessions if no notification is supplied also in 2016

2016 Re-Enrolments are now closed!

If you have not already completed your 2016 Re-Enrolment then there is an extended period until close of business Tuesday 1st December 2015 to have these handed in.  Once complete you will need to scan and email to rhac@ktoosh.com.au for processing.  Please ensure ALL fields are completed, even if you have done this in the past as it is a requirement to re-confirm these annual.  Failure to complete all fields will result in delay of processing and confirmation.

Effective from 5:00pm Tuesday 1st December, any account that has not advised care is required in 2016 WILL BE CLOSED and to re-active these accounts there will be an administration cost of $25.00/account so avoid disappointment and get your forms completed.

December 2015 Vacation Care:

Commences Wed 6th January 2016 and concludes Friday 22nd January 2016

Changes and Important Information:

Relocation of Centre: December 2015 and January 2016 Vacation Care will not be operating in A Block as normal.  Instead we will be located in G Block underneath the Auditorium in the three classrooms we have operated out of in previous years.

Please be a aware that a child who attends Rouse Hill Anglican College at KT OOSH has been diagnosed with Whooping Cough (Pertussis).  This was confirmed via swab testing results being positive yesterday Wednesdy.

Attached is an information fact sheet that outlines symptoms and treatment of Whooping Cough plus a letter from NSW Health.  Please read through both attachments and contact us immediately should you have any concerns.  Should your child show any symptoms then please take them straight to a doctor for swab testing.  This is for the safety of not only your child but other children that attend the service also.

As per our policies and a condition of enrolment, KT OOSH Services must be advised if any child contracts a contagious illness immediately after diagnosis.
