2016 Re-Enrolments & Enrolments

2016 Re-Enrolments 

In order to secure care for 2016, parents are required to complete & submit a 2016 Re-Enrolment Form. This form can be downloaded from the KT OOSH website or click on the link below.  All forms need to be completed in full to avoid processing delays and submitted to KT OOSH either by email or dropping it into the service. Re-Enrolment forms are required by no later than Friday 6th November 2015.  

Kindy Siblings starting with KT OOSH in 2016

If you have another child starting kindergarten in 2016, you are required to complete and submit a 2016 Enrolment Form. This form can be downloaded from the KT OOSH website or click on the link below.  All forms need to be completed in full to avoid processing delays and submitted to KT OOSH either by email or dropping it into the service along with a current Immunisation History Statement.  All new sibling Enrolment Forms are required by no later than Friday 6th November 2015.

You will receive acknowledgement of receipt of your paperwork within a week of emailing it through or handing it into the centre followed by a confirmation email confirming placement.

Please note – If you are unsure of what your childcare need will be in 2016, we suggest you take your best guess and then in Jan 2016, at least two weeks before school goes (required period of time for changes) back, you will need to email and adjust care at this point if positions are available.

NEW KT OOSH Parent Committee

RHAC KTOOSH have formed a parent committee effective this term which will be an important part of our KTOOSH community.  The Parent Committee will meet together once a term to hear and discuss any updates on KTOOSH and there will be a time to give any feedback. The parent committee will change every year and this will help ensure that a wide variety of parents are represented in these meetings.
KT OOSH require five parents on the committee of which we currently have four.  This leaves one place available and would love some expressions of interest to fill this.  Preference for one place would be that the parent is actively involved in the colleges P & F.

Attached is the Dec 2015 & Jan 2016 Holiday Programs operating from Rouse Hill Anglican College. December VC Early Bird Bookings close Wednesday 25th November 2015 and January VC Early Bird Bookings close Friday 11th December 2015.  Enrolments taken after these date for the respective holidays will be classed as casual and incur an additional $10/session/child.

My Family Lounge!!!! Online Observation & Programming

Effective from Monday 2nd November 2015 KT OOSH will be offering an online observation & programming system called My Family Lounge.  Educators have been trialling and learning to use this system throughout Term 3 & Term 4 and have done a fantastic job capturing your children enjoying there morning and afternoons at KT OOSH.

There will be a parent information night on the My Family Lounge System at Rouse Hill Anglican College next Wednesday 4th November 2015 @ 5:30pm in the KT OOSH Room (A Block).  We encourage all parents to come along and gain insight into the system and to learn how to manoeuvre your way around it to gain the most out of it.  My Family Lounge is a secure online system that can only be accessed by currently enrolled KT OOSH familes.

Parents will be emailed all login information (individual Usernames and Passwords) directly from the online program.  With your unique login you will only be able to access your child’s photos and observation and that of any group activities they maybe involved with.  All child observations and information are confidential and can only be viewed by another family if another child’s name appears on the same observation.  You will be able to log on to see photos we have uploaded of your children at KT OOSH, that of their friendship groups and programming for each session.  This is a fantastic system and we hope it will assist our families with having a closer connection with the daily running of our centre and an insight into what their children are doing at KT OOSH.

Please be aware this is a private system and only currently enrolled KT OOSH parents with Usernames and Passwords will be able to access this site.  Once a family closes their account with KT OOSH they will no longer have access to the online My Family Lounge system.

KT OOSH Services offer Vacation Care at two locations being Rouse Hill Anglican College and Ironbark Ridge Primary School during each school holidays. Vacation Care operates on site from 7am – 6pm during the school holidays. A variety of activities are offered plus excursions and incursions. We are always looking for new ideas for activities and excursions during the holidays so if you have been anywhere that you think our KT OOSH Children would love to visit then please email us!

How to book in for Vacation Care:

For children already currently enrolled with KT OOSH Services parents simply need to view the Vacation Care program on line and email the appropriate service below with a list of days you wish your child/ren to attend.  Please ensure you have submitted your booking prior to the close off date.  All bookings requested after the nominated close off date will be classed as a casual vacation care booking and will be charged at the casual vacation care rate being an additional $10.00/session/child that is requested.

IMPORTANT!! Changes to Permanent & Casual Care PLUS new Emergency Care

Effective from Monday 8th Sept 2014, KT OOSH Services has made changes to Permanent & Casual Care PLUS introduced Emergency Care.  These changes and the introduction of Emergency Care is to encourage parents to supply as much notice as possible for absences and unscheduled care due to our centre numbers increasing and being close to capacity in some cases.  Below are definitions of the four different types of care we will be supplying effective from 8th September 2014.

Permanent Care:

This type of care is based on a regular booking.  Permanent Care is a regular booking that occurs weekly or fortnightly and attracts permanent rates (See Fee Policies).

Changes can be made to Permanent Care bookings provided two weeks notice in writing is supplied to Head Office.  Two weeks notice in writing also applies for any Cancellation of care.

All changes to Permanent Care are to be emailed to your appropriate KT OOSH Services email address:

rhac@ktoosh.com.au – Rouse Hill Anglican College
bnps@ktoosh.com.au – Blacktown North Public School

All requests for Permanent Care to be either changed or cancelled will be confirmed by Head Office via email.  Once confirmation of a change or cancellation is confirmed by Head Office via email then fees are payable regardless of attendance or not for the set period as outlined in the email.

Please Note new change to Permanent Care:

Permanent Care cannot be cancelled for one off sessions even if two weeks notice is provided.  Should you be taking holidays of 6 or more days then provided two weeks notice is supplied in writing to Head Office then your sessions for the required period may be removed.

Changes to Permanent Care WILL NOT be excepted in person at the centre or via text.  Changes MUST be emailed to Head Office.

Casual Care:

This type of care is based on an irregular booking that is made more than 24hrs in advance.  An irregular booking may occur for a one off sessions or a set block period for a couple of weeks due to other commitments, grandparents going away, work meetings scheduled etc.  Casual Care attracts a higher rate (See Fee Policies).

All Casual Care requests are to be emailed to your appropriate KT OOSH Services email address:

Once Casual Care bookings are confirmed by Head Office via email then fees will be payable regardless of attendance or not as outlined in the confirmation email.
Emergency Care:

Emergency care is classed as any bookings made 24 hours prior to the requested care being provided.  i.e. less than 24hrs notice.

Emergency Care may be utilised when plans fall through or as it states, an emergency occurs and you are unable to collect your child.  Emergency Care attracts a higher rate to Permanent Care and Casual Care (See Fee Policies).

All Emergency Care requests are to be TEXT directly through to the appropriate OOSH Service Centre Mobile:

Once Emergency Care is confirmed by the centre via text message then fees will be payable regardless of attendance or not.

Please note:  The Centre Mobiles are only monitored during OOSH operating hours and bookings will only be confirmed during these times (6:45am-8:45am / 3pm-6pm on school days).  If a text is sent outside the centre’s operational hours then a reply will be sent as soon as the next session commences.
